Support the Work

Fund the fight for community consent.

Utah Civic Compact is funded by Utahns, not by the institutions we investigate. Your gift pays for public records requests, legal filings, and the organizing that turns findings into change.

Where your money goes

  • Public records

GRAMA requests, appeals, and the fees agencies charge to hand over what the public already owns.

  • Investigation and legal work

Analyst time, expert review, and filings like the Weber County election-law complaint.

  • Organizing

Petitions, public comment campaigns, and getting Utahns in the room when decisions are made.

Utah Civic Compact is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations.

Questions

Before you give

Is my gift tax-deductible?

No. Utah Civic Compact is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, which lets us lobby and take positions on legislation. Contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations.

Can I change or cancel a monthly gift?

Yes, any time. Stripe emails a receipt for every charge. To change the amount or stop, email info@utahciviccompact.org and we'll take care of it.

Who sees my donation?

Our staff see the details they need to send a receipt. The public donor list on this page shows only a first name and an amount, and only if you leave that box ticked at checkout.

Is the checkout secure?

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us, and we never store it.
